Project Structure

  • WP1. Project Management (CID) will facilitate and monitor the partners' cooperation to ensure a successful execution of the project.
  • WP2. Anode and Electrolyte System (BIU) will concentrate its effort on generating optimal, scalable and cost efficient nanostructured Mg-based materials and electrolyte.
  • WP3. Insertion Materials (DTU) will focus its activities on the enhancement of insertion capabilities of novel materials and innovative architectures supported by computational materials screening and machine learning.
  • WP4. Conversion Materials (KIT) will deal with the development and optimization of high capacity conversion materials aligned with electrolyte requirements and modelling.
  • WP5. Technology Validation (CEA) will deal with the lab scale validation to assess the optimal materials integration, performance, lifetime and safety, as well as feasibility as hybrid MESS by simulating real environment scenarios.
  • WP6. Environmental Analysis and LCA (ABG) will focus its activities on the technical and economic feasibility of the ecological footprint of Mg-based batteries through LCA methodology.
  • WP7. Dissemination, Exploitation & Community building (CID) will spread the knowledge created by E-MAGIC to a wider community for potential use of project results taking into account the protection of intellectual property rights (IPR).
